Living God Lutheran Church (LGLC)
The mission of Living God Church: "Go forth with the Gospel into our community and the world, loving God, growing in Christ, welcoming all!"
Summer Worship and Sunday School Schedule (Summer 2017 TBD):
Members are encouraged to use the "Member" cards located in the pew racks, to inform the Pastor of prayer or other concerns. Prayer Time at the Altar is available during the Pastoral Prayer and the Closing Song.
Our Worship Services
We normally have one morning worship service through most of the year. The morning service is a relaxed traditional service.
We provide Nursery care for children ages 0-5 during the 9:30 AM service.
A youth group (called JAM) meeting for those in Grades 6-12 is held every other Sunday at (time TBD - currently on hiatus). A special event is usually scheduled once a month. We help our teens to grow spiritually through the jungle of modern life. Our teens also spend time hanging out together. New friends are always welcome.
For Spiritual Growth
We offer studies and seminars throughout the year, generally lasting for 6 - 12 weeks. Adult Bible School is the primary forum.
Our adult choir usually meets one evening a week and if needed prior to a service. New members are always welcomed.
Our church is active, featuring a number of fellowship activities when singles and families join together in Christian fun. Having fellowship together increases the warmth we feel toward each other. Activities include:
Caring for people in our community
We respond to Christ's call to care for the needy by participating in the following ministries.
We currently sponsor Alcoholics Anonymous which meet weekly at LGLC. While we provide a place for them to gather, they give back to the church by helping during work days and special events.
God has blessed us with a wide range of special people attending LGLC. We have a balanced mix of the ages with many singles, young families and older couples. We have members who have moved here from all over the United States and members whose families have been in the area for generations. We believe we have something to offer everyone, no matter what their age or life situation.
